This site retired. Full medical provided.

This old script of mine is nice and fun, but it has offically been retired.
I will play around with it still when the mood strikes, but with Poster (http://kiyoku.org) taking over my main site; I feel it is in capable hands.
My life, as always, is chanced by shifting winds. My mood, ambitions, goals, obsessions, perceptions, and so on change so often I can hardly keep up myself. I hate making wild plans for my site, because whenever I do it never happens and I just feel embarrised. But my intentions for my new site is to actually use it. We'll see what happens. Programming on the RaspberryPi is beautiful. ARM assembly language just feels right. Will that feeling last? I doubt it. But for now my intentions are to keep working on that. My original dreams of designing an OS have been brought to the forefront of my mind, but my thoughts are such as that of time in "A dream within a dream." Constantly slipping through my fingers no matter how much I grasp.

UPDATE, Long time coming.

I, embarrisingly, forgot A) I have a site here, and B) how I set up my
scripts for this site. So, if this looks crude, forgive me. I may end up
redesigning the site anyways.
Anyways, I got a RaspberryPi recently, and I am having a blast playing
around with it. There is something about it that brings back grand memories
, and, it's just plain neat.

FreeBSD 8.1 RELEASE on Eee Pc 1000HE.
I installed FreeBSD 8.1 on my Eee Pc finally. I've been meaning to do so for a while now and haven't really been compelled to do so. But my last version was getting crouded so I decided to do a fresh install. There were a few system level settings I wanted to change as well, so I'm glad I did it.

On this page I will document and update all I had to do to get FreeBSD up and running well. Note, use the EEEKERN and loader.conf from my last post about 8.0. Those remain the same, to loader.conf I have added nothing, but cleaned it up. I have a few double values in there I suggest removing concerning the mouse. Basically everything below the line stating that the following was generated by

Custom FreeBSD Kernel for EeePC 1000HE

Here is a custom kernel configuration file for the EeePC 1000HE [and most likelyother EeePCs as well; in fact, any that use the Atheros chipset should work with this].
In order to use this file you must download the EEEKERN file and place it into /usr/src/sys/i386/conf/ (note you MUST have the kernel source files, if you don't you can use sysinstall to get them by doing sysinstall>Configure>Distrobutions>src and it will download them through FTP or from your CD or whatever you choose).
To compile the new kernel go to /usr/src and 'make buildkernel KERNCONF=EEEKERN' or whatever you named the kernel if you renamed it (keep the name all uppercase if you do rename it). Then install the new kernel by 'make installkernel KERNCONF=EEEKERN'. Pretty straight forward and simple. Before you reboot replace or augment your rc.conf file with the options I have in mine here. Please note if you still have options of your own in the rc.conf file, make sure loading APM and any ATH related stuff if left off, they are going to be built into the kernel now.

Done Kind Of... :

Well I made my news updater script, and as I wanted I made it using a scripting language. Although only using shell scripts, not C as I originally wanted. I'll make it more user friendly tomorrow. I will release both my mkphlog and web scripts some time.

SBC-6120:

What some, though mostly none, of you know. The PDP-8 was the first successful commercial minicomputer. Inspired by the CDC-600 and released by DEC on March 22nd, 1964. The machine was the first affordable machine that was assembled in assembly line fashion, and is often called the Model-T of the computer industry. It was relatively affordable at $18,000 for universities and companies looking for a machine that preformed well in educational and production environments. It was

New Design:

For the three of you that have visited my site before, you may notice my site has actually been slightly updated over the past couple days. Knowing myself as I do, I can guarantee this will not continue. But its nice to have some recent info on my site. As well as a design thats navigable.
I keep my site to a minimal design. Because this site is hosted on a Unix

Change Over:

My other two domains that no once visited, aricstudios.com and axic.org have gone done because I recently broke my wallet. So what information I.. at least intended to have over there, I now intend to have here as well. Including but not limited to GNU/Arix, ArixOS, my programs, and my tutorials.
For the time being, I don't have space for the operating systems. An attempt
